Your challenge

As Technical Designer, you will be responsible for the design, detailing and drawing of our total solutions steel and stainless steel.

• You will create drawings in 2D and/or 3D in collaboration with the project and sales engineers. These are concept drawings, layouts, detail and assembly plans, etc. which you bring to life via 3D scanning and VR.
• You guarantee high-quality work within the set deadline and budget.- You also coordinate related administration, such as drawing up bills of materials, DXF files or placing orders with suppliers.
• You work in a small team as a technical designer on projects in various sectors (food, breweries, chocolate, etc.).
• You regularly consult with other colleagues within METAL (project engineers, sales engineers, mechanics, etc.) and provide them with ad hoc support.

Your profile 

• You have a technical interest, having obtained a technical Bachelor’s degree (electromechanics) or equivalent through experience and further training.
• You can work with a drawing tools (Inventor, etc.) in 2D and 3D.
• You have spatial insight and analytical thinking skills.
• Experience with ISOs and P&ID diagrams is a plus.
• You are eager to learn and ready to throw yourself into our complex total projects.
• You have a good command of the Dutch language.
