Driven by market opportunities, Altebra and Lybover have realised that their activities are highly compatible and that growth can be accelerated for both by bringing them together. This means that Lybover will transfer its Business Unit FIRE, one of the group’s six Business Units, as well as the assembly and service personnel within these activities, into a new company called Altebra Waregem bv, which will be incorporated into the Altebra Group as a subsidiary. Lybover will remain active in the construction industry through participation in Altebra and will also work even more intensively in the industrial market through its other Business Units, which will remain 100% Lybover.
Strategic partnership
Altebra Group, the Benelux market leader with a full range of active fire protection, and Lybover FIRE, the specialist in smoke and heat exhaust ventilation systems (SHEV) and fire compartmentalisation, are entering into a strategic partnership in order to be able to offer customers a total fire protection offering. The combination of the two activities offers customers an even wider qualitative range of fire protection safety systems.
