Ready to take on these responsibilities?
As the right hand of an experienced product engineer, you will be responsible for 3D and 2D drafting of a product:
- Depending on your experience, you will start by making modifications and detailing existing designs and drawings. As your knowledge grows, you will independently develop more complex designs. We provide a training path to support your growth.
- Gradually, you will create technical 3D CAD designs and 2D drawings.
- You ensure that your design and execution plans comply with standards and/or customer requirements.
- You follow projects from the design phase through to the As-Built phase.
- You handle precise administrative follow-up in our ERP system: setting up articles and assemblies correctly, and ensuring accurate selection and ordering of components.
- You are responsible for ensuring that your designs can be smoothly transitioned into production by preparing clear production files (cutting lists, materials, etc.).
- You develop technical solutions for customers and can explain them in detail.
- Occasionally, you will go to construction sites to take measurements.
- You mainly work with Inventor and AutoCAD in a Vault environment.
- You collaborate closely with fellow Product Engineers and the Project Manager, and regularly communicate with the entire project team.
- You propose improvements and contribute to the standardization of the design department’s product library.
- You report to the Head of Product Engineering.
Are you the perfect match?
- You preferably hold a Master’s degree in a technical field and have a passion for technology.
- You have strong spatial awareness.
- You preferably have 2 years of experience in 3D design of industrial mechanical systems.
- You are experienced with 3D design software such as Inventor and AutoCAD, or a similar parametric design program.
- You are fluent in Dutch and can communicate sufficiently in French and English.
- Knowledge of Vault is an advantage.
- You are eager to learn and have strong perseverance.
- You enjoy working both independently and in a team, and you are flexible.
- You are proficient with computers and everyday software tools.
- You are highly organized and detail-oriented.
